Process, diagnostics & care
- Medical history interview: review of medical history, sporting activity and individual questions
- Physical examination: general health check, heart, lungs, musculoskeletal system
- Resting ECG to assess heart function
- Stress ECG or ergometry to assess physical performance
- Lung function test, particularly important for diving fitness examinations
- Blood pressure measurement and laboratory tests where needed
- For diving examinations, additionally: ENT check, eardrum examination and pressure equalisation test
- Final consultation with discussion of findings and issuance of a certificate or fitness certificate
